CasiAo!

Yesterday was quite a whack.. After uni, met eman in town and started our Casio hunting.. Oh this time we called Ziyan along but apparently he has to attend band meeting.. The phrase band meeting reminds me a lot of  Flight of the Conchords.. Brit? Present! Jermaine? Present.. and Murray.. Present.. I wonder if Ziyan’s band meeting is any different from theirs.. So yea.. Continue from Casio hunting.. So we basically ransacked every shop in Jalan Tun HS Lee and Kota Raya for some nice simple analogue Casio watches…

Nope.. None of these were purchased yesterday.. These were my current watches before yesterday.. Never had a time to post them.. And I thought since I will be talking mainly about Casio in this post, I might as well just post it up here now.. 😀

*added* Just watched Back to the future again and Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) was wearing the same calculator watch.. The Casio CA-53w.. Wowowowo!

So yea.. To the usual spots.. However I was very sad at one point when I found out that the mall which my favourite shop is situated is undergoing some renovations.. The whole mall was closed.. Later that day I found out that there’s a number and a banner saying that they’ve moved somewhere.. Hence I brought out my phone, give the lady boss a buzz and instantly she spotted me from across the road.. She guided me to her shop.. And instead of me getting a watch from there.. Eman got his.. Hahaha..

We got about 6 watches from about 4 different stores.. Hahahha.. Random I tell ya.. And pure impulse!

My newly acquainted! The white face this time.. I was contemplating the black or white when I got the black.. Never I could have thought I’ll be having both.. Hahhaha…

Something stupid happened to eman.. He was twitpic-ing all the watches in the car, when one (his favorite) dropped on his stomac, under the seat belt.. He spent a long long time to figure it’s on him.. He was damn upset  I tell ya.. Hahaha..

Eman: (adjust time on his new watch) What time is it?
Kinmeng: Time to buy another Casio!
Eman: FUCK YOU!!!!!

Nope I’m not saying about anyone I know.. I picked up a phone over the weekend, called one of her friend to tell that I found her friend’s phone.. I was told to send it over to the owner at a certain place.. What the hell right? Oh well.. It is mine now.. And I just bought a new case for it as it was terribly screwed up!

Anyway.. I had dinner over the weekend at erm Tasty Pot.. Some steamboat restaurant in just another steamboat paradise just like Kepong which already existed for years.. It was just a dinner to hang around and then later on to Karl’s new house at Puchong which is a gazillion kilometers away from town. (Sarcasm) Oh well.. Lets allow the pictures to do the talking..

What time is it? Oh it was time for sookteng to go home.. But of course as usual we will drag and buy time and finally went home at 2 something in the middle of a car race along the highway traveling at the top speed of 130kph or maybe more.. I was seated at the backseat of the most dangerous driver in Ss2. I shall not reveal his name or else I won’t be having any more thrilling car rides..

That’s all folks.. I am glad that my assignment is done.. One more presentation to go and we’re done done done.. I just came back from KL, specifically Jalan Tun H.S. Lee. Why did I go there? Hmmm.. Stay tune to my next blog post! Cheers and see ya!

Unfinished Business..

A shitty weekend is ahead! Seriously, it is gonna be a hell weekend for me… I feel like killing myself right now.. If I would choose when to die, it definitely be today! Or at least before tomorrow starts!

What makes my life hell?

Oh here’s a few reasons..

One..

That’s my current project.. Nope that’s not the whole of it.. It is the main component, but yea.. I have a lot to do base on this junk.. Sigh.. And tomorrow, yes SATURDAY, I have to go back to uni to finish this crap! Sigh…

Life is such a mess.. Just like when there’s a beautiful sunset for you watch, you’ll have a great traffic jam to obstruct your way home..

Oh well, there’s another sunset tomorrow, and I hope I wouldn’t be at the road again..

I never leave home without a pair of trusty ol’ Converse.. They are always in my car..  Converse are great.. Simple and clean oh well, not that clean now..

And my life is just as bitter than these whatever greeny juice my mum made.. I swear it is by far the worst juice ever! Some of the top 3 ingredients, little bittergourds, celery, capsicum.. Ewww.. Well imagine it yourself!

Oh well.. Time to go sleep or barsonic, depending on eman’s capabilities to convince me.. Or maybe he’s not even gonna try.. Then I think I am going off to bed.. Till then peeps! Sorry for such a whiney post.. FML!!!!!

Workhorse.

A couple of weeks back, eman and I were assigned to shoot a couple of gigabytes of photos for an event. An event which I do not have the authority to disclose it here. Anyway, it was a two days event which was mad hectic and tired. Back to back, from different locations, rushing here and there, driving from Hilton all the way up to the Lake Club then to Shah Alam.. It was far the most tiring event I’ve ever covered.

So anyway, here are some photos which are safe to be posted on the net. Or at least I think so… Some photos were snapped by eman and some were by me.. We got mixed up as we shared and jumble fumble our gears. So right here sitting next to me is probably eman’s 40D and not mine.. It all got mixed up, but it’s okay.

Malaccan S-luts.

When I saw the term Selat Melaka, a couple of years back.. I thought.. Hmmm what is it called in English? Malaccan S-luts?

Anyway.. I went on a short day trip to Malacca last Saturday for fun.. Yea I really mean for fun.. Reach Malacca just in time for lunch, had the famous chicken rice ball for lunch (which everytime I go I feel it’s overrated, yet I still want to eat them..)

No pictures, I am sure you know how they looked like.

Last 2-3 years I took a picture of the same building.. Only unfinished and was still under constructions.

This was last year.. From a slightly different view.. (oh crap.. It seems that my skills have deteriorate.. Geesh..)

After lunch we walked thru town and some old shoplots.. And as usual, when it comes to old shops, I usually tend to look out for watch shops like this one.. Just to see if they have some cheap Casios lying around..

After some walk about and snaps around the street, we headed over to one of the alley…

For Pork Satay! Mmmhhhmmm!! So damn tasty I tell ya!

After Sate and some walkabout we headed over to this place I never knew existed. It’s called the Menara Taming Sari. Pretty cool concept.. You hop into a platform on the tower, it travels all the way up and revolves.. Enables you to look out and the whole of Malacca.. Yea it’s damn cool! After that we had some random boat ride along the river.. Pretty cool experience.. And to my surprise, the river isn’t dirty at all! It was so damn clean! The last time I knew, the river was murky and brown and yucky and you can probably die of chemical reaction if you ever fall into the river. It looked like a toxic waste back then.. Now it’s nice and clean and yea quite beautiful! The scene is somewhat amaazing..

So you must be thinking, how do we know so much about these places and the whereabouts..

Wheee.. Calculator watch with Dual Time.. Reminds me a lot of primary school when I used to have a friend with one of these…
