LangkaWeeee Day 3..

On the final day in Langkawi, woke up a bit earlier than the rest and headed over for breakfast buffet in the hotel.. Gawdd… It has been awhile since I had breakfast.. It feels weird.. How weird? Hmm.. It’s like having a can of Singha beer in the early morning..

Oh wait a minute… Brian did have a can of Singha beer in the morning..

This was taken right outside our chalet rooms. Looks like they’re hiking in the jungle huh?

More like camping in the jungle.. The BC’s.. Brian Chieng and the Beauty Campers.. and the Beer Can..

Headed over to the cable car place about 2 minutes drive from Berjaya Resort…

Reallllllly Frwesh… So frwesh I can’t even spell frwesh..

Then we headed over to Telaga Tujuh waterfall which requires a lil bit of hiking..

It is beautiful up there.. But as you head down the stream, you’ll reach to a cliff which if you’re at that end.. There goes! You’re gone! Forever! Like Fucking Smash Dead by the rocks…

So here’s the beautiful side.. (Lets forget about the ugly side..)

Nice huh? That’s where you slide and swuish splash splat splut and down you go for a second or two and you’ll be up again.. Only a few shots were taken at the waterfall as I was busy sliding, slipping and hurting my ass… :p

After that, we headed back to Berjaya Resort.. Got ourselves cleaned up, and off we go.. Made a stop at the Duty Free Zone to get some stuffs and then headed to the jetty 4 minutes 20 seconds before the ferry leaves.. Ran up down left right north south east west to look for tickets.. Failed miserably.. Ticketing counters across the streets were closed.. I thought there goes another night spent at Langkawi.. Running around in my backpack back to the jetty (crossing 1-2 roads) .. For a moment I thought.. “This is hell.. It feels like I’m in Amazing Race aye!” Ran towards to jetty again and I was told that tickets are available IN the ferry itself.. Just hop on the ferry and then tickets will be sold then.. So I thought.. Hell.. Just get on then.. Called the rest who are still returning the car.

Hopped on the jetty with the tickets.. and Woohoo.. I thought I was relief for a moment.. Until the kid who sat behind and infront of me were playing catching and peekaboo among themselves.. Goshh.. I was stuck in between.. Feel like smacking the shit out of them.. The whole 1hour ferry ride was the worst ferry ride ever.. They even shook their chair.. I can neither lean front of back.. Both of them were shaking gold out of the chair! Farrrrrrrkk.

To the jetty.. and on to the bus.. Another good 8 hours bus ride.. And back to KL in the morning.. At about 5am I guess and slept all the way till 4pm.. Gawdddd.. Rejuvenating..

LangkaWeeeee Day 2..

On the second day.. Got up at about 8/9am.. But lazed on the bed till 12pm.. It was drizzling..

At about 1pm.. We headed off for lunch at a Nasi Kandar place at Cenang Beach and then off for Island Hopping..

Mr Speedy Yamaha Enduro which almost got me flung out of the boat with my camera… What a bitch..

At one of the few islands.. We were welcomed by this dude which was munching on a pack of Magic Rings.. Thats the reason why it’s mouth was orange…

That wasn’t all.. There were more, but I guess I went somewhere else to take photos..

And then.. Back at around 6pm.. We headed to a nearby night market and we had dinner there… Stopped at a nearby convenience store to stock up ice and more booze for the next activity…

And you should know what happened after that….

LangkaWeeeee Day 1!

Sorry for such lagging blog entry.. Like I mentioned earlier, I was in Langkawi from 2nd July till 4th July, but due to joyous 8 hours bus ride.. I left on the night of 1st July and reached home on the morning of 5th July.. Awesome huh? The bus ride was even better! Imagine 8 hours bus ride, dark and quiet, and you can’t sleep.. It was great I tell you! GREAT!! Hahahaha… Believe me.. Or try it yourself..
So we reached Kuala Perlis at about 5am.. Waited for awhile, chilled and got lecture by some tour agents who tried their best to get us on their holiday package.. I have no idea why did he pick on me, but I did talk to him nicely though.. And since then, I was like the negotiator.. I deal with every other tour agents..
So anyway.. First ferry to Langkawi Island was at 6am.. Hopped on the ferry, and reached Langkawi before 7am.. Rented a Toyota Unser, somehow ended up at Makam Mahsuri, thanks to one of the 4 beauties navigators with maps.. You may ask, what I was doing in the car.. I was stoning right behind the car, looking at these 4 wonderful navigators showing funny directions to KarlSon (the driver..)

Was taken at the Makam Mahsuri.. The other 3 fellas were smart for not entering because I think I wasted five bucks! Not many photos were taken in there.. The sun was too harsh…

Clown fishy! Took quite a lot of photos here.. I thought they were good.. When I got home, blew it up on the PC screen.. Damnnn… They were quite screwed..

After underwater world.. We headed across the street for lunch.. Then took a 20 minutes car ride to the Hotel to check in.. Berjaya Resort that is… Lepak-ed awhile.. As all were half dead.. I was 3 quarter dead actually, as I didn’t sleep at all.. Not even on the ferry ride.. Unlike someone… Got out to the beach.. And it was fun!

I was just taking photos, slacking, lying down, enjoying the sun at first.. But I guess it was too hot! Then I went in for a dip..

Coconut tree! Which reminds me we had a random conversation.. I asked Brian, why did is Tanjung Rambutan a Tanjung? Is it near a beach? And then Brian answered.. Its actually a beach with no coconut trees but rambutan trees instead… -.-”… Speechless..

Back to the hotel.. Washed up, lepak around and off to dinner at Cenang Beach.. The Ikan Bakar was mmmmmhhhhmmm…. First time I tambah nasi at a Warung… I seldom never tambah nasi before this..

Back to the hotel.. Hahahah.. Guess what happened?! Drink Drank Drunk…

I’ll be hopping over to Langkawi for a short trip tonight.. Will flood this space with updates as soon as I get back…

Fun Splashes..

As I said in the previous post, my cousins put a stay over the weekends at my place… On Sunday noon, they woke me up in mid day and asked me to bring them to the pool at my sister’s condo… I was hesitating at first, until I thought it could be a photography outing as well as a short swimming session for me..

Put an end to this weekend!

Sunday is not really here yet, but I am already complaining about the weekends.. It was since Wednesday I didn’t have proper rest/sleep.. Thursday, had some phase test (I think I did mention on the previous post..) Friday, went down town with SookTeng and ZhenQuan to purchase 10 bus tickets to and fro, spending about Rm700.. Had some problems earlier on, managed to solve it.. Slept for the night, for about 3hours, and I headed off to UM to cover a football clinic.. Immediately after that, went down town to Berjaya Times Square to get some payments and done, and I had a good 30 minutes nap after that… Now I am as tired as an old horse…

Anyway.. Two of my cousins put a two night stay over at my place. So yea, my house is kinda noisy.. Kids tend to shout when they are excited.. No doubt, my house is a place filled with excitement..

They are kinda funny though.. They are much more obedient than any ordinary kids, I bet they are much better than I was before…

It has been awhile since my house was filled with children’s laughter.. It is not too bad having them here over the weekend. Just that I am too tired to entertain them at the moment… Might be bringing them two to my sister’s condo for a swim tomorrow morning.. -.-”

These guys are good.. Seriously.. I kinda felt that a few of these guys did try to kill me.. During the shootout, a few of the balls came to my direction and almost killed me.. I think they could have killed me if they want to.. (I am a bit more agile than they think I am..)

The clinic was from 8am till 1.30pm.. You should be able to guess how hot it was.. Running around with a dSLR and a telephoto during mid-day is crazy.. It was a good experience though.. Enjoyed it very much.. Thanks to whoever who gave me such opportunities…

Lovey Plastic Bears..

Sorry for my absence in here.. I’ve been tied up with some stuffs.. College work, tests, and stuffs. Couldn’t find time to update this space.. Today.. I finally have some time to snap up some pictures of these two 400% plastic bears produced by Medicom Toys.. Yup.. These are the Bearbricks.. Which release? I can’t tell.. What are Bearbricks? Google is your best friend! I’m sure you can check on Wikipedia as well…

Shell was like Hell!

Guess what went up?

Fuel price increased again! Uggh.. From Rm1.92 to RM2.70!! That is crazy! As I’m not having my car with me for a week or more (my aunt needs to use it for the moment), I thought I could skip the madness of going to the petrol station and filling up the tank to be right to the top, instead I ended up going with my sister…

So yea.. It was crazy! We waited for about two hours for our turn to fill up our tank.. Petrol station also can be damn happening weihh!

I was dying to have my dSLR at that point in the not-moving-at-all-traffic-jam…

Without many choices, I opted to use my Nokia N80ie and my sister’s N93i..

We were there even before the sun sets..

1 and a half pathetic hours later..

We were finally able to fill up our tanks.. (That was half way.. We didn’t go thru the pathetic jam just for RM33.95 of fuel..)

FULL BABEHH!!! FULL!!!! (it is a lil above FULL actually.. spilt a lil.. but I guess most people went up to that point!)

After that.. There’s another problem.. How the fuck are we getting out of there?

After awhile.. With some help of some UNCLEs around.. They saved us though.. On the main road, the Left and Right lane has been switched somehow.. Vehicles on the left are going on the opposite direction while vehicles on the right are heading front.. What the hell!?

See that? We’re driving on the wrong direction! Wooohooo!! And we left the petrol station peacefully with a tank full of cheaper fuel..

Lets hope we won’t see any more further price hike for fuel in the near future.. It really burns our pocket.. Tomorrow, everything else will be more expensive.. I won’t be surprise if a loaf of bread will be double the price of yesterday.. The price of rice has already been doubled up since last week or or last two weeks.. C’mon! How are we gonna live in such situation? Can I seek for salary increase for my parents? Or tax us less! I need more allowance for sure! Very soon I won’t be able to afford fuel for my car.. How bout filling up with bicycles on LDP?? We’ll cycle from Petaling Jaya to 101 Mall Puchong just to buy a pair of Casio G-Shocks for a cheaper price…

We have to find a way out of this! Just as our Prime Minister says “Ubah gaya hidup!” which means “Change of lifestyle!” The question is.. What to change? Take public transport? Hmm.. Wait 30-45-60-90minutes (depending on the mood of the driver) for Metrobus? And then ending up having a seat at a spot where there’s an Indonesian construction worker putting his hands up high on the railing.. “Aaaaahhhhhh SEGARNYAA!!!” Hmmmm.. What else can we change!? HAH! Everyone can sell off their cars buy more Nike Air Max’s and walk on Air! Or what!? Car Pool? Aiyahhh us Malaysian standard loooo always late, never punctual, how to car pool? With strangers? Lagi the mafan la!! Chiseen! And dangerous oso.. So lets pray hard for a change I mean a better change in our lifestyle! We really need to look out for alternative!

Tuesday.. After college, gave my car a spanking clean wash.. At around 7pm, yonghua asked me to go for the Wesak Procession, I prefer to call it the Parade.. Gathered at the Kampung Chempaka temple at around 7.30pm..

Midway.. Camera battery went flat.. Called eman for back up as we were near his house.. He got it with out his camera in his hands.. And together we took part in the procession.. While snapping all the way..

It was a great 9.29km walk… Completed in 2 hours and 19 minutes.. I am proud of myself for taking part in the procession.. It was a good experience.. My wrist is tired as hell.. Not my legs though, but my wrist for holding my camera with the “African Long” according to yonghua, patrick,eman & engloon.. With eman’s flash.. Geesh.. My wrist felt as though it is gonna snap..

Honestly I am not a fan of Marié Digby, I only heard about her a week ago when I was told she is gonna perform in 1Utama.. After seeing her interview on MTV/channel V, I found out that she is kinda cute and a bunch of photographer friends are going to catch her live performance.. So how can I miss that out..

Zoom-zoom all the way! Not very sharp though..

I have to say she is talented.. She can sing, play the guitar, play the keyboard, compose music and write lyrics.. Plus the good looks.. WOW! What more can you ask for? Don’t be demanding, we shall conclude she is already perfect!

There is no surprise why she had so many hits on Youtube and how successful she is today..

Owh.. I won’t a Gap cap from where I stood.. Like a quarter mile away from the stage.. Hahahah.. It was funny and I definitely don’t deserve it.. Number 1, the question has nothing to do with Marié Digby.. Number 2, I only knew her last week and I am still not supporting her by buying her tracks off iTunes or her album off a CD store.. As most of you guys know I don’t buy records.. I only *ahem ahem* them from the net.. And yet, I have not *ahem ahem* hers yet.. Hahaha..
