Do you think I should stop.. For a moment, I think I should.. For another moment, I think this is a healthy hobby.. Yes, I know its money wasting but hey, at least there’s a value in it.. Looking on the bright side, it is better than doing drugs although it is as addictive as drugs.. Anyway.. I hope it won’t make my life worse! It’s bad enough..

The only reason why I’ve been starving for the past 3 years..

I think I should look for a freelance or part time job to fund for more..

Hi Mum, I’m drunk..

So I shall continue from my previous post..

I went down to my aunt’s place at Cheras for dinner.. My uncle bought a really big fish.. And my aunt decided to share the fish with us all.. It is called the “chat sing pan” in direct translation, it should be called “seven star … (wtf is pan?) Whatever.. Here’s the fish..

The best part was.. As referred to my previous post, I went for a jog and walk around the neighborhood with my mum.. I was really hungry after that.. I was really looking forward for dinner. Not long after we reached, I saw my mum, my aunt and the raw fish in the kitchen.. Damnit.. RAW FISH!!!! It was not cooked yet.. Had to wait for a bit for the fish to be ready..

I have a date at 10pm with 8 other fellas.. Yea.. The same bunch of friends… Somehow I decided to stay for awhile at my aunt’s place with my mum till it was almost 11pm.. I was actually expecting them to start without me..

An Evening Run With My Mum..

A quick one before I go out for dinner..

Just got back from an evening jog with my mum.. Wel my mum only walked around the park…

After I complete my 3km run.. We walked around the neighborhood for a  good 30 minutes..

That’s the run stats of the 3km..

A quick recap of last week.. Nothing much happened after “Streething All In The Family” party besides having steamboat dinner at SookTeng’s house on Sunday followed up with a getting drunk session which I didn’t get drunk at all.. Drunk pictures will not be posted here.. Aside from that, I have been quite busy with my assignment.. Which is to design a lawn mower..

Will update more probably tomorrow..

Out for dinner at aunt’s place now and followed up with lepak at ThiamBeng’s place… Till then..

All In The Family - Pre Event & Exhibition..

Streething Presents : All In The Family.. (picture taken from main entrance of Zouk, KL)

16th February 2008 is definitely a memorable day for all Malaysian sneakerheads, graffiti artist, sneaker customizers, skaters and all street culture influenced peeps.. Streething, a local self-funded community of mainly sneakerheads, hosted a party at Zouk, KL with the theme “All In The Family..” This event includes showcases of customed Nike Windrunner 400% Bearbricks, customized sneakers brought to you by Sole Obsession of Singapore, fashion show by models and non models (including some members of the Streething family..), live installation by ever popular Dave White from UK, Vandal from Canada will be performing and so much more..

As a sneakerhead, I was definitely involved in such event.. I was helping a friend of mine, Andrew/Gingerfish..

So it all began at meeting him at Curve at around 12pm.. Chilled and had some Sandwich, Donuts and Coffee from Dunkin Donuts, Mutiara Damansara.. Picked 200 Bearbricks from Curve to the MainRoom of Zouk, KL..

At Zouk.. Most of the gang were there.. Some were displaying their own art piece, some were dealing with the door gifts, some were chilling, but one thing in common, everyone was already packing with heat on their feet…

Somebody was having a Coke chilling while displaying them.. Zouk, in the afternoon is hot as hell.. Stuffy as ever!

The Horse is Six Years of Age..

As I promised.. I will blog about the horse… Here I am blogging about the horse I picked up yesterday, (Wednesday)..

Headed down to Pertama Complex on Wednesday slightly after lunch.. Reason? To get some post Chinese New Year pickups.. Well if there’s Pre Chinese New Year shopping, I’m sure there is Post Chinese New Year shopping.. I mean afterall it is just a pair of shoes… Ooops.. Yea I did mean it.. Shoes!

My recent pickup.. The Nike Air Force 1 Horse..  (My fourth pair of White/White sneakers..)

This pair was released in conjunction of the Lunar New Year back in 2002.. Why Horse you may ask.. It is because 2002 is the year of Horse.. Awesome huh? I first saw this pair in Pertama Complex when I was form 4 (2004) if I’m not wrong.. That was during Christmas season if I’m not wrong.. Didn’t expect that I will cop such a pair today..

It was the last pair, or probably the second last pair.. But this is definitely the last pair in my size.. Size 8US that is.. Woohoo! I’m happy! Owhh I forgot to mention that I got it at a steal price! It is the cheapest Air Force 1 I ever bought.. I just checked, some joker off the bay (eBay) is selling the same pair BRAND NEW UNWORN (which is the same condition/almost the same as mine) for a price of USD$300! Crazy! I seriously think that he is trying to rip off.. Well if any future buyer of that pair of sneaker ever know the price that I pay for, he will probably crying out loud..

Animal Kingdom..

Yesterday (Tuesday), eman and I visited the Animal Kingdom not far away from the KL City Centre… Ahuh.. Zoo Negara it is..

This fella is a bloody poser… Before I aim my camera at it, it was sorta lazing, and looked around..
Then when I aim at this fella… He striked a pose and starred at the camera, for quite some time.. Poser is the IN thing.. Even monkeys know how to pose..

This orang utan is another poser… When he saw the camera, he stopped climbing and stare.. Fuwahhh.. Almost perfect.. Would be perfect if this fella knows how to smile for camera!

The grandmother-look-alike-orang-utan.. If you watched Simpsons The Movie, do you remember the Booblady? Don’t you think they look alike?

Keong Hee Huat Chai!

It’s Chinese New Year again! Woohoo.. New clothes shoes, lotsa snacking, visiting, meeting old/long-lost/never-knew-existed relatives and not to forget ANGPAO!!

As some of you may be wondering.. Why “Keong Hee Huat Chai” and not “Gong Xi Fatt Chai”.. Well, Gong Xi Fatt Chai is in mandarin.. And I don’t know mandarin (well at least I’m learning bit by bit..) “Keong Hee Huat Chai” is in Hokkien, one of the many dialects in Chinese language… My family is Hokkien, so yea that’s why I’m wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year in Hokkien.. Okay I shall cut the crap..

I shall start with the reunion dinner on Chinese New Year’s eve..

This time around, I do not have as much photos of food compared to last year’s reunion dinner.. As some of my friends said, “Photography is not a very healthy ‘SPORT‘..” (note ‘SPORT’ NOT hobby…) So yea.. That was a phrase from a not so influential joker.. He said that because, when we were on our holiday trip to Malacca & Port Dickson (last month), I stalled a bunch of hungry ghost from eating, just to snap some photos of the food.. So this time, in order not to stall anyone during a very special dinner, I decided not to take much photos..

Day 1 of Chinese New Year was a lot of sleeping! Hahaha. I woke up at 2pm, some visitors came and go, and at 4pm I crashed on the bed.. Woke up at 6pm and headed out for another dinner with some relatives.. That’s all for updates on Day 1..

Day 2 will be great! Looking forward for it.. I just started Day 2 of Chinese New Year by watchin TV from 12am till now 6am.. Hahahah.. Good shot aye! Will be heading to my “hometown”  (actually, it’s my mum’s hometown) Cheras the next morning.. I shall go get my rest.. Long day ahead!

I’m going out for a jog now.. I have to beat eman with his 13 minutes record for 3km.. Ahhh.. The challenge will end tonight.. So yea! Wish me luck! Seeya!

Arrgh.. Finished 3km in 14 minutes 31 seconds.. Uggh.. That’s like a minute and 24 seconds away from eman’s record..

So yea.. Here I continue with these Teddy Tales.. Achelly, my sister was washing these teddy bear/dog/tortoise/cow/elephant/etc…. soft toys of hers…
