Rain drops and drizzle..

It was a boring evening until eman decided to go for a photo session at Lake Titiwangsa.. Reached there at about 5.30pm.. Barely walked too far from the car, and it started to drizzle and we got back into the car..

It was pouring heavily that we have to wait in the car..

Waited for about 15 minutes or so, when the rain stopped.. We got out and started our photography session.. Not as bad as I thought it would be, thinking that it will rain again..

Walked pass a miniature stretch of road, where they had small road signs, and lil traffic lights.. This is probably 8-10 foot tall.. Last year when I came here for the Nike+ Campaign, they were having some Road Safety Campaign where kids were all geared up with their helmets and knee pads on their bicycle, and I thought the road was a temporary thing.. It’s actually permanent.. This was built just to create awareness on road safety for kids.. They should spend more time and money to create these awareness for the grown ups as well.. They are the ones causing accidents..

This man has a real droopy voice.. He was selling some drinks and snacks on his little cart.. Look how hard is this poor man trying to earn for a living.. It is time for a change.. Start spending wisely! (look who’s talking..)

It was getting dark.. Or should I say, the clouds were memang dark already.. It looked like it was gonna pour again.. And yup! The cloud were exactly (more or less) like in the picture.. This is not a HDR.. Although it looked like horribly done HDR..

That’s when we started to head back home..

At 10pm.. Went out to ECKYWOOBEE @TTDI PLAZA to hangout with some other sneakerheads.. Watched football, played chor-dai-dee and talked a lot of cock.. They are a bunch of fun people to hangout with.. Had fun with these peeps..

Alright got to go before my parents get up.. It’s reaching 6am already.. Gd’nite!

Friday… Came home from college before lunch after the mock lecture.. Slept all the way till 4pm, that’s when SuehLung called up for a game of badminton.. I didn’t answer a few of his calls unintentionally.. Still, I decided to stay home to sleep.. Hahaha..

Went out for a jog.. And this is what I achieved..

Not very fast, but good enough compared to my current record..

Yumcha session on Friday night was cancelled as everyone wanted to stay home.. Dangg.. Wanted to head over to Subang to meet up with the other sneaker heads as I never catch up with them lately.. But I was kinda lazy to head over to Subang.. So I guess it’s fine to stay home once awhile during Friday nights.. Afterall, there is another night the next day.. Slept at 5.30am watching some series on crunchyroll..

Woke up at 2pm.. Watched tv till 5pm, when I decided to buy my own lunch.. No one was home, have to get myself my own lunch.. Went to McD’s for my Prosperity Meal! It was a late but definitely a prosperous lunch!

After dinner, watched TV and chilled in front of the PC when everyone decides to stay home AGAIN!?!? Goshh.. Two nights in a row.. Geesh.. Stupid fellas.. Really don’t know what’s in their mind.. Staying home on Friday and Saturday nights?!?! What?! Did their parents spike their drinks? Or were they being cursed? So fine lor.. Stayed home.. Until Waiee came online.. Then somehow a group conversation was started and I started to emo everyone because they didn’t want to yumcha.. And we ended up in Williams at 12.30am till bout almost 2am..

Reached home and found out the sky was clear and the moon was glowing.. Lately I found out that the moon seems to get brighter and brighter… Weird..

Not detail enough. Much to learn…

I’m off to continue with my TV series online before I head to bed.. Gd’nite!

Another day wasted.. I headed to college early today.. I reached college sharp at 9am, noticing that the MQA interview will only start at 11.. That’s when I went to the library, read some books.. A book about graffiti, photography, and there’s another interesting one about how to invent an electronic board game.. At around 11am, I went over to the lecture theater to gather with the other students.. We were being told that the interview will only start at 2pm.. Fine.. We went out for lunch.. Gathered again at around 1pm.. Waited till around 2.15pm, the first batch at random was being picked.. Most of my classmates were there.. At around 3pm, they called for another batch.. My name is still not in the list.. Fine.. I waited patiently until at around 3.30pm we were being told that the Mechatronic Students can leave for home.. The will only continue to interview the Electrical and Electronic Students.. Arrrgh! I wasted the whole damn day at college waiting for nothing..

Thinking that I will have other plans after college, I went home first.. Little did I know, SuehLung was already waiting outside my house.. He asked whether if I’m free to go down town.. I guess I have no choice as he is already outside my house, all prepared to go downtown.. Called ZhenQuan and KarlSon to tag along.. Each of us bought some joke tee.. Mine isn’t that funny though, but I guess it is kinda cute.. And then I went to check out some sneakers.. Found out that Nike Vandal Low (GS) Buzz Lightyear Colorway is out.. Didn’t even expect to drop here.. For your info, that is a pair of shoe, green in colour with purple outlines which resembles Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story.. The toe box is transparent similar with his helmet.. Pretty awesome, too bad they only release in Grade School’s Size (GS) which is pretty darn small and cute.. Thinking twice whether should I get them.. Hahahha..

Came across some pile of RM99 sneakers.. Which was the exact same place I picked my Nike Prestos for RM99 about 4 years back.. There were quite a lot GR (General Release) Dunks.. Mostly outdated ones.. Like 2 years back or so.. But hell, that’s a damn good deal.. RM99 for a pair of legit Dunks?!!? You probably have difficulties getting a pair of fake sneakers at Petaling Street with that kinda price.. And guess what? I did it!

This is what I copped.. An ordinary Dunk Low with some etchings on the side.. This was the last pair and it was my size.. There was no reason not to buy it..

Got them lace swapped from black to white, and white to red.. Still can’t decide, but most likely it’s gonna be red! What do you think?

Damn good deal aye! Notice some yellowing on the midsole? For RM99, it even comes with the “vintage” feel.. Hahahhaha.. It should be a good start for 2008, The Year Of Dunks..Be True..

And I think it is time for bed.. Mock lectures at 9am the next morning..

Wonders of the Internet..

Aren’t you happy with what you can do on the internet these days? I’m sure everyone is.. But are you happy with our broadband service here in Malaysia? Damn! Since evening today, I just couldn’t get connected to my MSN messenger.. Sites never load, except for Google.. Fine, at least there is a site that loads.. I really wonder when will our broadband service provider provides us stable and problem free connection, and better 24 hours customer service (who knows what are they talking about, and not putting you on hold every few minutes possible for at least 5 times in a 10 minutes conversation..) without hiking the fee every month.. I don’t quite appreciate TM providing us wider bandwidth, cheaper packages and stuff like that.. I would much prefer, better quality and more stable internet connection.. I also don’t mind that if they were to put the server offline to do some maintainance work.. At least give proper notices, like publishing it onto the papers (which they will definitely not do due to the cost of publishing), at least load a page on the browser (as a pop up) or just a page informing users that the internet service will be down from when to when and what they are doing.. I’m sure they can create a webpage that will load before you load your default homepage after you connect to the internet.. Come on.. Who the hell goes to the TM website? I’ll probably go if my internet connection is down..(that’s if I still can connect to the TM site..) Please TM.. DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE!!! PLEASE!!!

Went over to Pavillion this afternoon with my sister..

Reason for going over to Pavillion was to pickup some cases for our iPods.. She sort of broke hers, and I just don’t like the feel of my silicone case.. Actually, it was because EPICentre at Pavillion was having some major discount on most of the second gen iPod Nanos..

Here’s what I got.. The Capsule by SwitchEasy.. Saw this off the net sometime ago, wanted to order from the distributer when I was still attached with GeeK, but we had to order a minimum of 5 units of these, which we are in the midst of clearing off the old stock for the old Nano (second gen) ..

I am really happy with the case! And I got it for only RM50.. They even have the iSKIN, the limited edition one is selling at only RM109.. Other than that, my sister got a faux leather purse type of case.. Which includes a card holder in it.. Guess what? She got it for only RM5.. Hahaha.. Damn cheap huh? Got a few screen protectors too for only RM1 each.. Hahahah..

Just started watch Heroes Season 2.. It was in my external hard drive for months.. I didn’t want to watch because I do not want to wait for releases of new episodes.. I was suppose to wait till I get hold of every episodes of Season 2.. But I guess I just can’t wait any longer.. I finished 7 episodes last night.. Hahahah.. Damnit!

While surfing the internet, I accidentally broke the scroll of my mouse.. Damn! Wasn’t scrolling hard, neither I was using it to click.. Just scroll really slowly, and suddenly it felt smooth.. As smooth as the wheel of a toy car.. Opened to check if the scroll got out of track. Damnit, the shaft of the scroll broke!

Now I gotta use the wired mouse again.. Arrrghh!

I better go to bed.. The MQA is visiting my college the next morning.. There’s gonna be a mock lecture.. Ugggh..

Sneaker Header..

You may or may not notice that I have a new header.. A header of a few pairs of white on white sneakers that I own..

I was trying really hard to get the best photo taken.. Deleted a bunch of photos.. While snapping in the light box, I noticed I have a bunch of sneakers lying on the floor.. Sneakers that I wore lately which I did not keep it back into its’ boxes..

One Busy Night..

It was on Friday night when I expected to head on to 1Utama for awhile, and then meetup some of the usual peeps for a drink at Ss2 or something.. I ended up staying in 1U till 5am.. Basically we helped and keep watch of the contractors dismantling some of the shelves and tables..  Finished at about 5am, when I went over to McD centrepoint for my supper/breakfast..

Where does the Geekiness of me come from?

Today, was a pretty hectic day.. I thank god that I woke up late.. So yea I missed class today because I practically woke up about an hour after class started.. So yea, had to skip that one.. At 2pm, I went to college to attend some meeting regarding the MQA’s (formerly known as LAN, they probably changed their name because they are duLAN about people making fun of it.. ) accreditation which will be held next week at college.. So yea, we have mock lectures and shit like that for this quality assurance thing.. But do you think this is actually working? It doesn’t really make sense when you are coming to check the quality of the college when everyone is pretending to be good, and facilities will be kept up to standard for a week? Weird huh.. We were even told how to ask questions, and how to dress up on that day itself.. (and somehow I was appointed out by my lecturer to show some GOOD example, not to follow..) That was because I was wearing shorts and flip flops.. So yea.. Screw this shit, and hope I won’t be picked for the interview.. I’m not a good candidate to be interviewed, I’ll probably mess up..

Then, I headed over to work to help out on cleaning and packing the area.. For your info, we’re moving out.. Gonna move back to our HeadQuarters, C-zone, in LowYat.. This is due to the extreme incremental of rent issued by 1Utama.. Our rent was increased by 40% (right after our 2 year contract ended).. Yeaman that is some serious fuck shit we’re going through.. Yesterday, we were already closed for business.. Today we cleared almost everything.. Found lotsa junks and yea some even got in to my pocket somehow.. For instance, memory cards, memory cards and memory cards… Hahahah.. Not to forget, today was the only day I wore flip flops and non-tech-brand-sponsored-tee.. Pretty much like I was at home.. Speaking of home, I’ve always known 1U as my second home.. Since GeeK is moving out.. I am actually losing my second home.. There won’t be a place for me to hangout with these bunch of GeeK’s anymore, neither there’s a place for me to get paid while doing my college home works and surf the net.. I’ll definitely miss this place.. For those who didn’t know, I’ve been affiliated GeeK since it was started (2years ago..).. I really enjoy working in there, although the salary wasn’t as fancy as other jobs around.. But hey, how often do you get a job which you can come in and work when you’re free and you can stay out from work when you’re busy? Besides that, which job allows me to do my school work at the work place, and instead I can surf the net when I have nothing to do? (or even if I have things to do).. I can even take a nap at the sofa upstairs which is comfy and cold as hell.. I think I spent as much as earn in here.. There were lots of items I bought in here, this month alone I bought an LCD and a Crumpler bag.. Not to mention previously when I bought my PDA, my iPod and lots of accessories.. I never thought I was gonna be as Geek-y as I am today.. Fking hell, before I was affiliated with Geek, I don’t even give two shit to snap pictures with the camera phone, now I’m snapping with a dSLR ; I don’t even sync my phone’s contacts to the Microsoft Outlook (even when I was already using the Windows Mobile Smartphone), now I sync the contacts from my Smartphone to my PDA to my iPOD.. (is contact keeping on the iPOD necessary?) Okay I shouldn’t get too windy and finish this up because I just can’t finish describing how much I am gonna miss this place.. By Saturday, we’re sure to be leaving this premise.. The times spent at GeeK will never be forgotten (from the happy times crapping and bullshitting, to the shitty times where our goods are stolen..) So yea.. Fuck it and I’m moving yo! For those who may ask/tell/suggest “What am I gonna do next?” Nope I am not gonna find a new job.. I am not gonna work in another IT centre, neither anywhere in 1U… I don’t feel like working anymore (and I’m not emo or what so ever).. Better spend more time on my fucked up studies and spend more time with family and friends (it has been 2 years sacrificing most of my Saturdays and Sundays working..) What I will probably do is to take up freelancing in photography.. So yea.. Hit me, if you think I can provide a decent picture for your online store/your own portrait/birthday party or anything..

Unity Band! (Thanks to eman) Not that I love Malaysia a lot.. But hey, what’s wrong with our country? I don’t hate it.. So why not support it? (actually I got this for the sake of the bands.. I have loads of them, and this is the first non-nike.. next on my list is the original LiveStrong - Lance Armstrong band.. I still do not have the initiative to get it online as I did 3-4 years ago for the Stand Up Speak Up bands..)

One of the “few” things I got while cleaning up GeeK.. This is the ever popular rocket blower (very famous among photogs) This is the best the blower by far.. What’s a blower you ask? It’s something to blow the dust away.. Widely used for camera lenses.. This is the favorite toy among us GeeKs while we have one hand on the mouse, and the other on the blower just to squeeze it.. (sounds kinda wrong huh? but I tell you.. this lil thing is fun to toy around..) Hahahhaah..

Something I’ve learned being a GeeK.. Always (se-fucking-riously) get a screen protector on your gadget with an LCD on it.. Even if it is prone to scratches or not.. Get it done while buying it.. If the seller refuse to give you one for free, BUY IT! Rm30 will save scratches from your newly bought device which costs probably RM1k or more.. Fucking hell don’t be a stingy bastard trying to save RM30 on your newly bought device.. For me.. I choose the BEST screen protector! See those packages in the picture above? They were all mine on every of my device.. My camera, PDA, the older PDA, my smartphone, and I even got my sister to put it on her Nokia N93i.. This is Martin Fields.. The best screen protector you can get in town.. It is usually ranged from Rm40 - Rm 50.. Some shops even sell it for RM65 (that’s GeeK.. Hahha.. Because you will never find any retail in Malaysia which has more stocks and varieties than we do.. at least used to..)

Here are the reviews by different forums about the screen protector.. Trust me.. You will never go wrong when you purchase a Martin Fields.. What could possibly go wrong is, you bought for the wrong model which is 90% the time different in size.. If you are interested to get one.. You can actually check out their website here.. Where’s the moon?

Since the past few days, I’ve been trying to get a good picture of the moon.. I didn’t get any.. The cloud is always blocking the bright, sharp and pretty looking cresecent (not really a crescent afterall).. At the same time… It is kinda low..

Just snapped bout 5 minutes ago, before it went to hide again.. I’m trying to get a clearer picture..
